Job Summary
Delta Hotels Quebec is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations department, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful execution of all hotel operations, including Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance. Your primary goal will be to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of hotel operations staff, ensuring that goals are being translated to the team as they relate to guest tracking and productivity.
- Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
- Understand employee and guest satisfaction results and develop game plans to address need areas and expand on strengths.
- Ensure that the team has the capabilities to meet expectations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Assist employees in understanding guests' ever-changing needs and expectations, and exceeding them.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
What We Offer
Delta Hotels Quebec offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $72,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
