Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Adria Contractors Inc.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with noisy and dusty environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
