Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

Ontario Ltd is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Work Environment

Our Steel Stud Framer will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments. You will be required to relocate to various locations, with relocation costs covered by the employer.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Tight deadlines.
Own Tools/Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Hard hat.
  • Safety glasses/goggles.
