About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Planner to join our Project Planning Services team. As an Electrical Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our large-scale projects across the province and small commercial projects with our extensive knowledge and commitment to innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce installation drawings for field teams to ensure efficient installation of electrical systems on a project.
  • Interpret construction drawings, including electrical, architectural, mechanical, and structural.
  • Collaborate with field teams to adjust designs for on-site requirements.
  • Work as part of a team to support the planning of multiple projects.
  • Utilize computer programs to efficiently produce installation drawings.
Requirements
  • Must be a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice.
  • Must have a minimum 1-2 years of field experience, including concrete slab projects, wire installation, and distribution installation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn or re-learn methods of planning.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Passion for research and fine detailing within the planning scope.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Adaptability, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
  • Good grasp of the CEC.
