Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Litigation Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing estate litigation files, providing legal services and advice to clients, and working collaboratively with our team of lawyers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage estate litigation files and provide legal services and advice to clients
  • Work collaboratively with our team of lawyers and support staff to achieve client goals
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in estate law and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized institution
  • Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO)
  • Experience and exposure to estates, trusts, wills, power of attorney, capacity matters
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively to manage a busy caseload with supervision
