We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Professional to join our team at RhynoCare in the Burnaby area.

**Job Summary:**

  • This is a full-time position with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

**Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admission for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • Manage resident transfers and discharges efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, storage, and disposal.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care that meets residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Awareness of residents' rights to self-respect and privacy, with a commitment to respecting these rights.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing long-term care operations.
  • Vaccination record and adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols required.

**Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
