At the Early Childhood Development Association, we're committed to providing exceptional care and education for children and families. As our new Project Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Handle with Care program, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze program data to inform decision-making and drive program improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance program delivery and impact.
  • Coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development opportunities to support program staff.
  • Chair and report to the Handle with Care Advisory Committee to ensure program integrity and accountability.
  • Manage program budgets and expenditures, ensuring timely and effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators to deliver high-quality program services.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as early childhood education or child and family studies.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and families, preferably in a program coordination or leadership role.
  • Clear Criminal Record check and Handle with Care Facilitation certification (an asset).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other software programs, with experience in budget management and grant writing.
