Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Blue Sky Animal Hospital + Englehart Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Prescribe medication, set bones, and perform surgery as needed
  • Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advise clients on animal care and provide education on animal health
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in veterinary medicine
  • Enforce government regulations and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Graduate of a veterinary medicine program
  • Valid licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy
