About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Aroma Espresso Bar NOTL. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Dependability and initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
