Job Description
United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Regional Manager - Operations to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and protecting the company's assets while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers to develop budget plans and set sales and profit targets.
- Provide input to the Regional Manager - Operations to shape business unit strategy and provide reliable forecasts for the region.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans that include growth targets and profitability, as well as implement merchandising initiatives directed through the centralized merchandising team.
- Assist in building a high-performance team by maximizing the operational efficiency of and returns from operating assets and employees under their guidance.
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure inventory is managed and protected in compliance with UFA inventory management standards and practices to ensure high levels of accuracy and minimal losses.

Requirements
- Post-secondary education in agriculture, business, or management, or related fields.
- Equivalent business experience of 7+ years in a progressive operational leadership role in customer service required.
- Strong leadership skills, including successfully leading high-performance teams, using accountability and performance metrics to drive the right behavior and business outcomes.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed to support business needs in various locations.
