About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Beedie Investments Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as emptying trash cans, washing windows, and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Supervise and assist other workers as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Operate industrial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, power tools, and lawn mowers to maintain our properties.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
