We're seeking a skilled Transmission Lines Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transmission lines team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing safe and efficient transmission line structures for voltages from 60kV to 500kV.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing Overhead Line Structures: Develop safe and efficient designs for overhead line structures, taking into account regulatory and industry standards.
  • Conducting Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis and detailing for structures associated with transmission underground cables and submarine cables.
  • Ensuring Safety and Quality: Ensure that all projects meet safety and quality standards, and provide technical assistance and construction support as required.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with project/operations management to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by defining engineering scope with clients, establishing design criteria, approving technical documentation, and assessing progress against standards and objectives.

In addition to your technical expertise, we're looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural engineering, with a minimum of five years of experience working on transmission projects. You should also be proficient in design/analysis software and CAD systems, and have a solid understanding of drawing standards.
