About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at C.F.R Dorchester inc. as an Industrial Machinery Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our industrial equipment and machinery to existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide quotes to clients
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  • Identify and solicit potential clients and provide them with product information
  • Deliver sales presentations and prepare and administer sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software to analyze sales data and provide insights to management
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services to clients and potential clients
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Implement marketing activities to promote our products and services
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in sales, preferably in the industrial equipment and machinery industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting software and ability to analyze sales data
  • Ability to provide input into product design and development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
