About the Role

The Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure the effective maintenance of our facilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure the upkeep of our properties
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient maintenance process
  • Respond to tenant concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as maintenance or facilities management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
