Nova Scotia Power is seeking a seasoned professional to lead their technology architecture and business intelligence initiatives. As a key member of the Technology Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the overall financial, risk, resource, and issue management of the IT Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement technology architecture and standards across the business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, policies, and standards.
- Lead the creation, evolution, and management of business intelligence and data platforms, driving governance and adoption across the organization.
- Drive successful organization change management outcomes, fostering architecture governance adoption among stakeholders.
- Oversee a team of technical professionals, including hiring, performance, and compensation management.
- Contribute to technology risk management and provide guidance on system architecture deliverables.
- Support Solution and Technical Architects in developing technology requirements and systems architectures for business projects.
- Maintain personal safety and that of co-workers by observing Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, or Senior Solution Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of modern enterprise-level business process, data, security, and technical infrastructure architecture knowledge.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in a business environment.
- Leadership capabilities to develop individuals and build strong working relationships.
