About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Process Equipment Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Process Equipment Design group, you will be responsible for designing and developing process equipment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process equipment, including LIPEX lab-scale extruders, utilizing detailed engineering drawings and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Conduct equipment testing and ensure compliance and functionality through the execution of Installation/Operational Qualifications (IQ/OQ) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Develop and optimize industrial automation and control systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the development, testing, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WI), and other GMP-relevant equipment documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of equipment testing, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve processes and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in process equipment design and development.
  • Proven expertise in CAD design, solid modeling, and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Siemens NX.
  • Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for training, meetings, and project-related activities.
