Job Description

**Job Title:** Marina Operations Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marina Operations Assistant to join our team at Administration portuaire de Québec. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting the Marina Manager, and contributing to the overall success of our marina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to marina customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Support: Assist the Marina Manager and Operations Coordinator in carrying out various technical and manual tasks, including checking berth occupancy, launching and unlaunching boats, and performing daily tasks using tractor, lift, and trailer.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of pontoons, basin, grounds, and bathrooms, as well as performing sceptic pumping of boats and weeding and watering flowers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure the smooth operation of the marina, including coordinating the work of operations attendants when required.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Skills: Well-developed customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with people.
  • Experience: Experience in general maintenance, light tool handling, and tractor/merlot/lift driving.
  • Availability: High availability during the marina's busy season.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Maritime Knowledge: Knowledge of the maritime environment and pleasure craft operation.
  • Language Skills: English language skills.
