Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at the Boys and Girls Club of Yarmouth. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and adhere to food safety and handling procedures.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage kitchen operations, ensure smooth service, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and ability to work under pressure.
