Job Summary:

Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Turf Equipment Service Technician to join our Agriculture Division team. As a Turf Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing turf equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the working condition of turf equipment and diagnose issues to determine the necessary repairs.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and repair turf equipment, using secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Accurately document all machine information, actions taken, and time taken on work orders.
  • Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  • Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
  • Locate and order parts from parts personnel using parts catalogues.
  • Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment.
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
  • Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
