About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment LP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructing and Mentoring

Provide guidance and training to apprentices in the maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.

Troubleshooting and Repair

Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in heavy equipment using computerized and other testing equipment.

Maintenance Reporting

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure that all work is properly documented.

Equipment Testing

Test repaired equipment to ensure that it meets manufacturers' specifications and is in good working order.

Heavy Truck Repair

Perform repair work on heavy trucks and other equipment as required.

Routine Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment fleet.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 3-5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Transportation and Travel

A valid driver's license is required, and you must be willing to travel as needed.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.

Weight Handling

You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.

Personal Suitability

You must possess excellent oral communication skills, be accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, and a team player.
