About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Event Planning Specialist to join our AI Venture Lab initiative. In this role, you will focus on organizing investment-related events and networking opportunities to engage investors and key stakeholders.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and gain firsthand experience in the rapidly evolving AI startup landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Coordinate investment-related events, from logistics to scheduling and participant engagement, aligning with our strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate interactions with investors, partners, and team members, ensuring a collaborative environment that supports the AI Venture Lab's growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to inform event themes, content, and strategy, connecting our initiatives with industry trends and business objectives.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Develop event reports and presentations with the team, showcasing outcomes and providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with trends in event planning, investment, and AI technology, enhancing both your skills and Vosyn's competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest or academic background in event planning, investor relations, or business development.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate events smoothly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
  • An enthusiasm for the intersections of technology, finance, and event planning.

Hiring Process:

  1. Application Submission: Candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters through our career portal.
  2. Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge.
  3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.
  4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
  5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship.

Estimated Salary: CAD $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
