Industrial Electrician Job Description

Focused on delivering exceptional results and fostering a culture of excellence, Resolute Forest Products is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply health and safety, environmental, and quality procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to optimize daily operations
  • Utilize the Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to process work orders, schedules, and equipment updates
  • Perform preventive maintenance and modify equipment to optimize performance
  • Improve and diagnose control, artificial vision, power, and servo systems
  • Respond to production calls during downtime and communicate updates to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Industrial or Construction Electrical certification
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related industrial environment
  • Strong safety record and commitment to a safe work environment
  • Excellent relational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Availability for 12-hour operational shift schedules
What We Offer:
  • A competitive base salary of $40.38 per hour (Process Control rated at $41.70; next increase Jan. 01, 2025)
  • Alternate Shift Schedule (4on x 3off; 42 hour average work schedule)
  • Shift Premium of $.65 per hour
  • Retention Payment of $0.50 per regular hour worked
  • Annual Tool allowance $600
  • The opportunity to work overtime paid at time and a half
