We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Roadx Express Ltd. as a Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of heavy trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment
You will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing faults and malfunctions in our heavy trucks, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
Order Parts and Maintain InventoryYou will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining an inventory of spare parts to ensure that our trucks are always in good working condition.
Adjust Equipment and Repair or Replace Defective PartsYou will be responsible for adjusting and repairing or replacing defective parts on our heavy trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition.
Keep Maintenance Reports and DocumentationYou will be responsible for keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on our heavy trucks.
Test Repaired EquipmentYou will be responsible for testing repaired equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition and meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Clean, Lubricate and Perform Other Maintenance WorkYou will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work on our heavy trucks.
Perform Repair Work on Heavy TrucksYou will be responsible for performing repair work on our heavy trucks, including verifying and repairing emission control systems.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThis role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle heavy loads.
Personal SuitabilityWe are looking for a reliable and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be required to have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work in a client-focused environment.
