Job Title: Clinical Counsellor - Addictions Specialist

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health and addiction treatment services, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care to Canadians.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our team at EHN Willowview Recovery Centre, a 60-bed inpatient addictions treatment facility located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CBT and DBT, with experience in facilitating group therapy and educational presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial patient intake interviews and complete psychosocial assessments
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, monitoring patient progress and making adjustments as needed
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing CBT and DBT techniques
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational presentations on topics such as substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, social work)
  • Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues
  • Strong background in CBT and DBT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
