EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Job Summary:The Clinical Counsellor will work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The successful candidate will provide individual and group therapy sessions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial patient intake interviews and complete psychosocial assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including CBT and DBT
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure seamless care
- Consult with family program staff and refer patients to appropriate programs
- Deliver educational presentations and workshops
- Participate in in-service training and professional development
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., counselling, psychology, social work)
- Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues
- Knowledge of CBT, DBT, and 12-step programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
