Job Title: Integration and Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Implementation Specialist to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our Integrated Youth Services (IYS) delivery model within local Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of the PreVenture program, an evidence-based prevention program that promotes mental health and delays substance use among youth.
  • Collaborate with the Early Intervention and Prevention team and the Integration and Implementation Team to bring specific capacities and expertise in Implementation Science, Quality Improvement, change management, stakeholder engagement, co-development, coaching, and system change.
  • Provide tailored and contextualized support to Indigenous communities and service providers in all stages of implementation.
  • Apply evidence-informed approaches to change, such as Implementation Science, Quality Improvement, and service/system design, to support system stakeholders in adopting new practices.
  • Develop an understanding of the local mental health and substance use systems to support contextualized implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate data to identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen equitable service delivery.
  • Assist partners in implementing practice and/or system change through facilitation, coaching, problem-solving, focused capacity building, consensus building, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Use clinical expertise to support partners in planning and delivering the YWHO model and its evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, counselling, psychology, or a related health or social service discipline.
  • Registration and good standing with a relevant professional college/registering body.
  • At least three years of experience in health promotion/prevention, community health, and/or mental health and substance use services or other related health services.
  • Expertise in health or mental health program planning and implementation with a variety of organizations/agencies, with experience in the Indigenous health and/or mental health and/or substance use sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, cultures, perspectives, and health service providers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect, and social justice.
  • Demonstrated skills and commitment to data-driven/evidence-informed decision-making.
  • Experience working within an Implementation Science framework or other evidence-informed implementation or Quality Improvement framework.
