Job Title: Training and Implementation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Implementation Consultant to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our Integrated Youth Services (IYS) delivery model within local YWHO networks.

About the Role:
  • Support the implementation of the PreVenture program, an evidence-based prevention program that promotes mental health and delays substance use among youth.
  • Collaborate with the Early Intervention and Prevention team and the Integration and Implementation Team to bring specific capacities and expertise in Implementation Science, Quality Improvement, change management, stakeholder engagement, co-development, coaching, and system change.
  • Provide expertise and advice related to equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression to strengthen internal YWHO practices.
  • Develop an understanding of the local mental health and substance use systems to support contextualized implementation.
  • Assist partners in implementing practice and/or system change through facilitation, coaching, problem solving, focused capacity building, consensus building, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related health or social service discipline.
  • Registration and good standing with a relevant professional college/registering body.
  • At least three years of experience in health promotion/prevention, community health, and/or mental health and substance use services.
  • Expertise in health or mental health program planning and implementation with a variety of organizations/agencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, cultures, perspectives, and health service providers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect, and social justice.
