Job Title: Business Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at SOHYA CONSULTING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Plan development projects to drive economic growth
  • Develop venture capital sources to support business expansion
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on consumer buying habits and preferences
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
  • Design market research questionnaires
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments
  • Design, conduct, and analyze research projects
  • Develop feasibility studies and marketing strategies
  • Deliver presentations at conferences and workshops
  • Develop and implement business plans
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and be organized
  • Reliability and team player
