At Randstad Canada, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Edmonton.

This role involves coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in dispatching within a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating schedules and managing resources to ensure efficient dispatch of services
  • Communicating with service managers and coordinators to ensure seamless operations
  • Generating new service requests and attaching pertinent documentation as needed
  • Maintaining planning boards to ensure all stakeholders can view updated schedules
Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be engaged and aware of your territories' overall service operations and customer needs
  • Closing communication and interaction with service managers and coordinators
  • Managing the schedule of service work for assigned customers and field operatives
  • Maintaining planning boards to ensure all stakeholders can view updated schedules
  • Proactively communicating with field operatives and local management when necessary
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years of related experience in scheduling, dispatch, or a similar field
  • Ability to travel to the US as required for the role
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check for security and compliance purposes
  • Passing skill test to demonstrate proficiency in key areas relevant to the role
  • Willingness to travel to Eastern Canada for business needs and operations
  • Proven computer skills with proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, SAP, and other relevant tools
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
