Job Summary
At ALBERTA CORPORATION, we are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account the specific needs of each group.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Offer general information about points of interest in the area, helping guests make the most of their stay.
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
