Job Summary:

We are looking for a Supervisor, Food Services to oversee the daily operations of our food services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in food services or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
