Job Title: Steel Framer

Exodus Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Steel Framer to join our team. As a Steel Framer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to construct steel frames
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install steel components, such as beams, columns, and joists
  • Ensure all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials
