About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at GRIMACE &CO RESTAURANT LTD. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and dishes.
    • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and store inventory and supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
    • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, management, and customers.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Language and Communication
    • English language proficiency required.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
    • Physically demanding with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
    • Overtime required as needed.
