About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at Nest Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks to maintain our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Apply fertilizers and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
  • Operate fan snow guns to maintain our outdoor spaces during the winter months
Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be exposed to the elements, including sun, wind, and rain, and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping principles
  • Ability to operate equipment, including fan snow guns
