Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team as a Mailroom and File Clerk. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for sorting incoming mail and packages, scanning cheques, organizing documents, and maintaining records and document verification via electronic and paper database.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate department
- Scan cheques and maintain accurate records
- Organize and maintain files and documents
- Maintain electronic and paper databases
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Requirements
- At least 2 years of administration experience in an office environment
- Experience working in an insurance or financial industry is an asset
- Experience handling cheques, scanning, and mailroom is a definite asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
