Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Legal Assistant to join our team at Billyard Insurance Group-Halifax West Branch. As an Insurance Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our insurance team by coordinating the flow of information, maintaining filing systems, and preparing legal documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information to ensure seamless communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain filing systems to keep our records organized and easily accessible.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement office procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Skills: MS Office, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader
