Billyard Insurance Group-Halifax West Branch is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a filing system. You will also be responsible for preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, as well as reviewing and proofreading documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain a filing system
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines

As an Insurance Claims Assistant, you will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as MS Office, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
