We are seeking a highly qualified neuroscientist to join our research-intensive team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative research on cerebral function, with a focus on mechanisms underlying normal or disordered complex processes.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in neuroscience, incorporating state-of-the-art imaging methods.
- Establish and maintain an independent, active, and externally funded research program, contributing to the department's programs and curriculum development.
- Engage and inspire undergraduate and graduate students in their academic work, fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
We are a research-intensive group focused on fundamental problems in the neurobiology of cerebral functioning, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including NMRs, 3T MRI, electron microscope, multiphoton and confocal microscopes.
