Job Title: Neuroscience Assistant Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Neuroscience Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in neuroscience, conducting research in the field of neurobiology, and contributing to the development of the department's programs and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in neuroscience
  • Conduct research in the field of neurobiology
  • Contribute to the development of the department's programs and curriculum
  • Establish and maintain an independent, active, and externally funded research program
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a cognate field
  • Demonstrated excellence in research on cerebral function across the life span, in humans and/or nonhuman animals
  • Ability to instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in neuroscience
  • Capacity to engage and inspire undergraduate and graduate students in their academic work
