About the Role:
Dexterra is seeking a skilled Hospital Porter to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
- Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, clean changing rooms and showers, and provide basic information on facilities.
- Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
Requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.
