We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hospital Cleaner at Dexterra. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, corridors, and other areas of the hospital
- Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles
- Restock supplies and equipment as needed
- Assist with special events and projects as required
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts as needed
