Job Summary:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Co-op to gain a deep understanding of the Order to Pay process, place Purchase Orders within the company's ERP system, and identify process issues. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Supply Chain team on implementing the MRP module in Microsoft Dynamics and conduct data analysis to support supply chain activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institute and have completed 2nd or 3rd year in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • You should have strong data analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is required.
  • You need an understanding of the Order to Pay cycle and workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.

What Success Looks Like:

  • You will develop a deep understanding of the workflows associated with Svante's Order to Pay process, including identifying a need to purchase, sourcing, creating a purchase requisition, approving purchases, and placing a Purchase Order with a supplier.
  • You will place Purchase Orders created in the company's ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • You will identify issues with the Order to Pay process and report them to the implementation team.
  • You will follow up with suppliers to confirm receipt of Purchase Orders.
  • You will work closely with the Senior Buyer and the Supply Chain team in implementing the MRP module within Microsoft Dynamics.
  • You will conduct data analysis related to supply chain activities.
