Job Description

CS Group Canada, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Software Tools Developer and Process Specialist to join our dynamic team.

We are a subsidiary of CS Group, a Sopra Steria company, and we accelerate Functional Safety and Cybersecurity for companies developing critical embedded technologies.

Our customers are OEMs and Tier 1 in the aerospace, automotive, defense, and railway sectors seeking to achieve Functional Safety (ISO 26262, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP-4761, ARP-4754, EN50128) and cybersecurity (DO-326A, ISO 21434, UN-R155) certifications.

We offer a unique opportunity to work on complex high-tech systems for some of the most prestigious OEMs and system manufacturers in North America.

As a Software Tools Developer and Process Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering user requirements and feedback
  • Designing a process and associated tools to meet user needs and critical development standards (DO-178C/DO-331/DO-330)
  • Developing and testing the required software tools
  • Documenting the tools' architecture, developer guides, and user guides
  • Supporting the deployment of processes and tools
  • Supporting tool users
  • Analyzing/reproducing issues and proposing solutions
  • Implementing and testing fixes

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in the aerospace field
  • Genuine involvement in tool development
  • Proven expertise with tools: Matlab, Simulink
  • Effective skills with languages: Python and Web languages
  • Knowledge of critical development standards (DO-178C/DO-331/DO-330) is an asset
  • Experience in object-oriented and/or multi-core programming can be a plus
  • Good communication skills, especially strong written proficiency in English and French
