Software Developer

PKF Antares is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Calgary Office team. As a key member of our national and local practice, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse client engagements and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.
We offer a wide range of services to fast-growing companies in Canada, including Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Assurance, Accounting, Taxation, and Internal Controls advisory services. Our team provides a one-stop solution for our clients, and we are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our ranks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of software products that meet client requirements and expectations.
- Engage in data analytics and coding, as well as code reviews and teamwork, to deliver high-quality software.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of software development.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English with excellent oral communication, values, and ethics.
- A master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check, credit check, and be eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Software Developer.
- Ability to develop software in C++, Java, Python, Go, or other programming languages.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Experience developing web applications using popular web frameworks.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Proficiency in software engineering tools.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications.
