Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Osoyoos Pho Vietnamese Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment as needed
- Receive and store supplies, including food, ingredients, and cleaning materials
- Participate in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, including workstations, appliances, and equipment
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
