Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Osoyoos Pho Vietnamese Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:- Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure that all items are properly sanitized.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Assist with food presentation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
