Position: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Barrie, ON
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year (depending on experience)
Industry: Manufacturing / Supply Chain / Logistics / Industrial
Employment Term: Full-time / Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a factory Supply Management team responsible for overseeing daily supply operations to meet the business needs.
  • Responsible for creating and executing strategic plans aligned with business objectives for the procurement of equipment, components, and all goods and services required by the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop a multi-year cost reduction plan with achievable savings targets, ensuring that reported savings are verifiable and deliver a substantial ROI for both direct and indirect material purchases.
  • Keep factory leadership updated on all major issues, progress, and challenges related to the administrator's area of responsibility.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, business, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing a Supply Management team.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Management preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP tools and processes.
  • Proven ability to utilize software and analytics to process, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
