Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Death Care Assistant to support our Funeral Directors in delivering personalized funeral services. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, develop strong relationships, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Funeral Planning: Assist Funeral Directors in planning and coordinating funeral services, ensuring that all details are accurate and complete.
  • Mechanical Support: Perform various mechanical tasks, such as lifting and transporting caskets, as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Active attendance or enrollment in a Funeral Director/Embalmer Program.
  • Able to pass applicable Board exams.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High degree of overall computer proficiency.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
