Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Delcato Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
You will also be tasked with inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, cleaning kitchen and work areas, organizing buffets and banquets, and managing kitchen operations.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
