Job Title: Control Systems Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing control designs and electrical schematics, commissioning and testing machines and equipment, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop control designs and electrical schematics using various software platforms
  • Commission and test machines and equipment at the client site
  • Program and configure industrial robots from multiple manufacturers
  • Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs using various platforms
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Manage client relationships and project scope as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, controls, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in controls specialist roles
  • Knowledge of different programming software (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
  • Technical understanding of SCADA, motion control, and peripheral systems
  • Able to travel locally and internationally as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
